LCD HDTV
I just hung up the phone after calling mom to tell her that the LCD HDTV that we all ordered dad this year for Christmas had arrived. I was a little surprised at how early the delivery men were out this morning, but I guess with it being the Christmas season, the delivery services are out bright and early so they can make sure that everything arrives on schedule. I called mom as soon as I signed for the LCD HDTV so that she’d stop worrying whether it would arrive before Christmas. I kept assuring her that we would definitely have the LCD HDTV on time, but she’s not use to ordering products online, so she wasn’t sure. I asked mom if she’d like me to keep the TV at our house and then bring it over on Christmas morning, and she said that it would probably be the best idea, so that dad would have no idea that he was getting the LCD HDTV that he’d been asking for this year. Mom pretty much has him convinced that she’s not getting him anything major this year, so he’s going to be so surprised come Christmas morning.
