I have to be honest here when I say that I have not been out to the movies in quite some time. The real reasons are threefold. One the crowds are not something that I entirely fancy, neither is waiting in long lines for ten dollar bags of popcorn. But really it’s because ever since I got my new DVD home theater I have had trouble wanting to see a movie in a place other than my living room. Sure this means that newer releases that are currently in theaters means that I have to wait until they are on DVD to watch on my DVD home theater, but I don’t really mind that much. When you work as much as I do, sometimes it’s nice to be able to relax on your couch and not have to worry about getting ready and going out when you can easily get the cinema experience in your own home. Once in a while it’s great to go out to the movies. But for most other occasions – at least for me – my DVD home theater does the trick perfectly.
