Having a DVD home theater saves me and my family money. Instead of going to the theater, we buy movies or rent them, and watch them on our DVD home theater. We have a large widescreen HDTV, an HD DVD player and surround sound speakers in our DVD home theater. It feels a lot like going to a theater, only better. Even if we buy a movie at full price, it's about the same cost as two admissions to a theater. And we can watch with our whole family, as many times as we want to, on our DVD home theater. I'm glad I don't have to sit in a theater on hard chairs and walking on their sticky floors. My couch is much more comfortable, and cleaner! And staying home to watch movies on my DVD home theater, I don't have to deal with rude people who talk too loudly or people throwing popcorn, which happens often in a theater. I really enjoy having a DVD home theater system in my house, which saves me money and frustration.
