I recently had to buy an audio video switching device online because I was sick and tired of having to rewire the different game consoles to my home theater system when I felt like playing them – as I could only keep one hooked up to it at a time. My brother told me that they actually make a great A/V switcher that you can find online for cheap – like the one pictured to the upper left – that would allow me to enjoy having all of my consoles hooked up to my home theater system at one time. If you are not familiar with how these switchers work on your home theater system, it is really simple. You hook up the A/V switcher to the receiver in your home theater system through the audio video inputs. Then you can plug up to three audio video devices into the switcher. Whenever you want to use a different device on your home theater system, like another game console, you simply flip a switch on the device and it does all of the rest.
