Last night I was watching our LCD HDTV and I noticed that the puppy had stopped playing with his ball and was watching the television as well. I nudged my husband, who was engrossed in the program we were watching, and we both started laughing. Generally the dog does pay attention if animals come on the LCD HDTV screen, but this was a medical show, which wasn’t showing anything out of the ordinary. At first I thought it was coincidental, but the more I watched him stare at the LCD HDTV, the more I realized that he was watching it. I’m really not sure what kept his attention for so long, but obviously, he loved the show as much as my husband and I did. It was so cute and yet comical to watch. Maybe he’s smarter than we give him credit for. I mentioned to my husband that we should put an animal show on the LCD HDTV in the near future and see how the dog reacts to that. I have a feeling it will be even more impressive than the show he was watching last night.
