I am going to give people items made from pictures of them like coffee cups, mouse pads, or T shirts. I'm finding that I'm enjoying digital photography more and more. I finally put away all my film cameras and one thing I'd always missed having for my Canon digital camera was a camera accessory that would let me push down the shutter remotely while the camera was mounted on a tripod. Even though my Canon digital camera has anti-shake features, I want to get the sharpest pictures possible and that's why this remote Canon RS-60E3 Remote is the perfect camera accessory for me.

My tripod is the most useful camera accessory I've ever used for film photography, and I'm finding that digital photography is no different. I have an assortment of tripods and the beauty of digital photography is that the tripods for them are much smaller and lighter than for my old film cameras because the digital cameras are light as feathers.

Between the tripod and this remote shutter release, I'll be able to start taking some incredible close ups and telephoto shots. The longer the lens is extended, the more the camera picks up the shaking, so hooking up the remote to the camera will eliminate any human shaking I inadvertently do while the camera is on the tripod.

I find having the right camera accessory on hand makes photography so much more fun and successful. It's been awfully fun preparing my digital photographs for gift giving this season. As time goes on, I'll pick up a camera accessory here and there to make the process smoother. For now, the remote cable release is a step forward for all my macro and telephoto shots and it will even be possible for me to take pictures of myself, too, with the remote.
