EA Need for Speed Undercover
lcd hdtv, home theater systemThere is something really awesome about the idea of running from police in an all out chase while driving some high horse power car, through intersections, around traffic on the highway and into side streets before escaping away into a safe house garage. Obviously the repercussions of such a ballsy move are great and I am not interested in coming anywhere near a jail cell so the only place a guy like me can run from the cops without endangering others and myself is on a video game console. My favorite franchise to evade Johnny Law goes to Need for Speed. Ever since a young teenager and original titles like Hot Pursuit quenched my gear head appetite on PS2, this series has been a staple in my video game collection

One of the latest cop chase inspired games goes to EA Need for Speed Undercover, showcased in the LCD HDTV video below. The clip attached documents one of the career levels where player’s steal a Nissan Skyline R35 decked out for the police force and have to lose the heat before hiding it away in one of the many in-game garages. There is just enough arcade styling in this one to make it a blast to run from the cops. In the real world when three squad cars smack someone into a median, the chase is over and the getaway vehicle is left smoking. In Undercover drivers get a lot of chances to escape the long arm of the law especially on straight aways.

<--Great Looking on a LCD HDTV

Over a LCD HDTV and home theater system this title real shines. If someone was playing this game in my living room and I heard the screeching sounds of flashing red and blue sirens over the home theater system, it would be easy to mistake for a real life chase.

Awhile back my friend decided to pick this classic title up so we went online to buy. After searching the digital shelves of Mye Emporium at http://www.myeemporium.com/ we found exactly what he was looking for, for 40 dollars. This is a great deal considering all new released games start at 60 dollars. Need for Speed Underground has really fun game modes like the ability to put on a badge and catch fast driving criminals around the open environment city streets. The storyline of this game resembles Paul Walker’s character in Fast and Furious. Part street racer and part undercover agent, the arcade action is spectacular over a LCD HDTV and home theater system.
