We weren’t about to go to a professional photographer and employed the help of our digital cameras. I brought mine and my brother had his Canon digital camera. We found the perfect place to mount the camera on top of the entertainment center so we could all be in frame in front of the Christmas tree. I tried my camera first. Like most, it has a timer feature. The problem is I couldn’t turn the little light on so we knew when it was about to flash. After about three failed attempts at smiling at a blank face lens my brother went and got a life saving camera accessory.

With his Canon digital camera came a mini tripod. Standing at six or so inches, it created an even better framed picture of us and he could work his self timer feature better then me. He has had his camera for a while and mine is new so there are still things to learn. In the end, the pictures turned out great and my mom was really happy.
