Switching Up Movie Genres with Wife on DVD Home Theater System

My wife and I both like to watch all sorts of different movies on the really sweet DVD home theater system that we have setup in our living room. However, there are, or I should say that there have been, some instances where we disagreed on what movie to watch on our DVD home theater system on a particular evening. So we have made an amicable and diplomatic solution to our DVD home theater system movie watching woes: every other time that we watch a movie, the other person gets to pick it out. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing wrong with watching chick flicks or romance movies, but when it gets to be that they are the only movies that I am watching on my DVD home theater system, well it can get old. I am really glad that my wife and I worked out this new movie rotational agreement. This way we can bicker less often about what we are watching, and instead enjoy using our DVD home theater system and spending time with each other in the evenings!

LCD HDTV Couldn’t Have Been Better for NBA Playoffs

http://www.hometheatersystemlcdhdtv.net/2010/April/LCD-HDTV-Couldnt-Have-Been-Better-for-NBA-Playoffs.htm

Now that we are through the first game of the opening series of the NBA playoffs, who will make the second round is a bit clearer. There are a lot more games to go but the teams who came to play showed how bad they want it and in the case of KG, the emotions took him out of the second scheduled game against the Heat after throwing an elbow. The Celtics/Heat game was the best of the weekend. At least the best one I watched on the LCD HDTV. The Suns/Blazers game would have taken that prize had Nash hit the last second 3-pointer to tie the game. Unfortunately it fell short and the Suns lost by 5. If Amare would have played with more fire and not been shut down under the rim for the first half Phoenix would be up a game in the series.

My LCD HDTV and home theater system, both bought online, have been priceless pieces of tech gear as of late. There is so much good stuff on TV this month. The sporting world this weekend alone saw NBA and NHL playoffs and a MLB game that went into the 20th inning.

Taking Canon Digital Camera Overseas This December!

http://www.hometheatersystemlcdhdtv.net/2010/April/Taking-Canon-Digital-Camera-Overseas-This-December--.htm

My Canon digital camera already has gotten so much usage ever since I ordered it online for a great deal – and I have that awesome Canon digital camera model that is just packed with features called the Rebel – that this gadget literally has already paid for itself with the many amazing memories it has captured for me. However, the usages of my Canon digital camera are never-ending, or so it seems. I have many trips planned this year, and towards the end of the year my wife and I will be boarding a plane and heading to Jamaica for a dreamy vacation. At first we had thought Hawaii, but I really wanted to go to a different country and then hit up a few others, and get some great Canon digital camera footage while there. So we have altered our itinerary and have decided that world travels are on the books for this year in December. I can’t wait to be on the plane already and on my way, and I am confident that my Canon digital camera will bring back many happy memories of our travels!

DVD Home Theater Brought Sunny Skies to Dreary Day

http://www.hometheatersystemlcdhdtv.net/2010/April/DVD-Home-Theater-Brought-Sunny-Skies-to-Dreary-Day.htm

The sun is shining today, burning away most of the clouds that covered the sky in days past. Last night I had plans of making it out to the driving range but sideways rain put the kybosh on that idea. Instead, I stuck with indoor activities and drove down to a local gym. After coming back, the only thing I wanted to do was sink into the couch. The DVD home theater helped that happen. I wasn’t watching anything in particular on the LCD HDTV, just channel surfing. I stopped on a few travel shows and old re-runs of sitcoms. It didn’t matter because with a bowl of warm chili steaming on the glass coffee table, the sound of rain pattering on the street through an open patio door and LCD HDTV created a very peaceful atmosphere.

Sometimes dreary days even after ruining plans turn out to be great changes in the average. In Southern California the average is a warm sunny day like what we see today. When the storm clouds roll in I’m actually really pumped especially with all the electronics I bought online perfect for nights in.

Now that I finally have the Canon digital camera that I've spent the past four months drooling over, I can finally learn how to use it and start taking pictures of things that in the past I've only dreamt of taking pictures of. I come from a family of extremely creative people, and yet I've always felt as though I was lacking in that department. I've never felt inspired to create anything, until I saw some pictures that my best friend took with the Canon digital camera that she received for Christmas, and I knew that was where my creativity lays. I remember coming home that afternoon after pouring over the beautiful photographs she'd taken with her Canon digital camera and thinking that I simply had to do the same. I told my husband excitedly over dinner that I wanted a Canon digital camera so that I could start taking pictures the way my friend had been doing. I think he was a little surprised to find that I was showing interest in anything that would require creativity, because I’ve always been one to say that creativity was overrated, at least until I became inspired to create with a camera and then it became all consuming.

I think he actually thought it would be a phase that would pass, because unless I brought up the Canon digital camera, he never said much about it himself. I think when he realized I was serious, was about three weeks ago when I commented about something I saw and how I'd love to be photographing it with the Canon digital camera, but unfortunately I didn't own one. It was that moment that he looked at me and asked why I didn't have a camera if I really wanted one that bad. He went on to say that I didn't have to have his 'permission' to buy a Canon digital camera, and that was all I needed to hear. That evening I went online and found 10 MP PowerShot E1 white. I'm experimenting and learning how to use the Canon digital camera and taking pictures of everything and I love it!

http://www.hometheatersystemlcdhdtv.net/2010/April/Hooking-MP3-Player-up-to-Home-Theater-System-for-Rocking-Tunes.htm

I really love this wonderful day and age in technology where a super tiny device, like the awesome portable MP3 player that I have, can easily be hooked up to your home theater system and allow you enjoy all of the songs that are in the play list. If you have a home theater system and portable MP3 player then you are in luck as well, my dear readers. Simply take a look at your owner manual for your MP3 player; usually they come with instructions and a cable that allows you to hook them up to your home theater system, or you can generally – in some cases depending upon the model of MP3 player that you have – hook them up to your home theater system by using the transmitter MP3 feature and tuning into the FM radio receiver of your home theater system, which is how I hook my awesome DXG DXG-567V High Definition Digital Camcorder - 2" Active Matrix TFT Color LCD up to my home theater system whenever I want to enjoy all of my favorite songs that are on my play list, as well as enjoying hand-selected tunes I have downloaded to it; instead of flipping through CD after CD just to find the songs I want to hear.

Most recently, my home theater system and my MP3 player really came in handy for providing a candlelit dinner for two this weekend for my wife and I. After knowing that she had a really stressful and hectic week, I really wanted to make the weekend special for her, and she works on Saturdays. So I setup my home theater system, and some really romantic tunes, started prepping dinner while rocking out to it, and before I knew it, I heard the garage door opening and she was getting home from work. This was just as I pulled dinner out of the oven, and oddly enough, right as one of her favorite songs started playing on the home theater system. She was all smiles when she saw the surprise that I had laid out for her, and we enjoyed a very romantic dinner with some great background tunes thanks to my home theater system and MP3 player. In case you are wondering where I got that awesome MP3 player I have, I am happy to share. I found this beauty online at a great superstore for quite the bargain called Mye Emporium—which you can find online at this provided web address at: http://www.myeemporium.com.

Seen in the LCD HDTV recap video below, Kobe was not able to control the high flying Hawks in Atlanta leading to another loss. While LA still has a grasp on first spot in the west, all of this losing is only feeding the confidents of the Mavericks, Jazz, Suns and Nuggets who follow close behind. This post season is going to be an exciting one. It is one of those basketball moments that would be great to see in person but from of a DVD home theater it is still very intense.

The great part about LCD HDTVs and all those other components that go along with a 2010 media experience is the price on any one product continues to fall online as new stuff comes out. I have my fingers crossed it will be the Lakers and Suns in the conference finals. It is time the desert took one for their own.

It comes in very handy when we want to relax. For instance today has been a tough one for me because of the dramas other people enjoy making. I will have a bath later and that will help to relax me. After I come out of the bath my intention is to watch a movie rental via our DVD home theater system and LCD HDTV. I have no idea which movie I will choose to watch yet. The movie I watch is not important. What is important is the fact that I will be seated cozily on our large sectional sofa in the company of my loved ones and we will relax together as a family. This will help me to forget about the events of today and the way that they have made me feel. We all need an escape from the usual routine every now and again.

I happen to know that she loves her dad’s Canon digital camera, and she is always using the camera accessories to play around with it, under his watchful eyes; as his Canon digital camera is one of those really nice ones that cost him a bundle, even after ordering it online for a great deal. However, seeing as she loves that Canon digital camera so much, it got me to thinking: perhaps a camera for her would make for a great gift. I also happened to be armed with some other information as well: I know that she loves the cartoon character that is very popular with young girls called Hello Kitty. So when I was shopping around for different digital cameras for kids online today and I found this super cute HELLO KITTY 87009 5.1 MEGAPIXEL DIGITAL CAMERA, needless to say, I think I happened upon the ideal birthday gift for her.

Currently my wife and I have four awesome camera accessories digital photo frames, and now, with all of the different pictures we have taken that still have to be edited and uploaded to the frames, I think that it may be time we upped the ante of our collection to five frames in all. So I have been looking around online for a unique digital picture frame that can serve as the next great camera accessories addition to our ever growing collection of them. After browsing around online today I came across a really great online store that just may have the frame we have been seeking: this sleek and feature-loaded Coby Electronics DP-812 Digital Photo Frame - Photo Viewer, MP3 Player - 8.5 TFT LCD—which I added a picture of to left so you can see how cool it looks!

Since I happen to own a Canon digital camera myself, I was able to tell mom various pros and cons on owning one and said that I would definitely recommend it. I also gave her a few pointers in terms of choosing between a SLR and a point and shoot Canon digital camera and which I thought would be best for what she wanted to use the camera for.

At that time I asked her if she wanted me to look online for a Canon digital camera and give her a few options to work with, but she said that she really wanted to do it on her own. She did ask how I found great deals on products and how I knew if it was a better deal than the local electronics stores. I explained to her that the best thing to do would be to look at the sales paper and see which kind of Canon digital camera was being offered and at what price, then suggested that she go online and look for the same product and see what the price difference is. I also said that once she'd done that, it was a good idea to look at reviews on the Canon digital camera from people who actually have the camera and what they think about it. She said it sounded a little time consuming, but that she'd figure something out because she really wanted to know that she was able to find the best deal on the Canon digital camera that was available.

She hasn't mentioned it in a while, so I kind of thought she had maybe given up on buying a Canon digital camera, but yesterday she popped in and showed me the 12MP PowerShot SD940IS Blue. Model - 3968B001 that she found at Mye Emporium.com whose online store can be found by visiting www.myeemporium.com. I absolutely adored the blue color of the Canon digital camera and knew that mom had made a great choice. Not only color wise, but also because the camera was sporting 12 megapixel's, which would make some great pictures. Mom said that she'd forgotten to order a memory card for the Canon digital camera, but I happened to have several on hand and gave her one of mine. She was so excited that she immediately started taking pictures, after a few instructions from me.

He said he wanted to take pictures of the trip and one of his friends had a really cool Canon digital camera and he'd really like one similar to it if possible. Up until this point, our son has never shown any interest in photographs or photography in general, so I thought it was interesting that he would suddenly want a Canon digital camera for the upcoming school trip. He was 15, and I knew that all the kids his age had cameras, so I didn't mind him having one as long as I knew he was going to use it for more than just this one time. I explained to him that the Canon digital camera was an investment and that I really didn't mind getting one for him, but that I needed to know that he was going to use it for more than just this one trip.

He explained that he'd been watching his friend use the Canon digital camera quite a lot lately and that he thought it took cool pictures plus he thought it was fun to take pictures of different things and see how they turned out. He said he and his friend want to get good enough with photography to become photographers for their school newspaper, and he said that if he had a Canon digital camera that he could start practicing. I explained that I didn't think it would be a problem, but that I'd talk to his dad about it when he got home.

By the time my husband got home I'd already found the 12MP PowerShot SD980IS Blue. I explained to my husband the interest our son was showing in photography and that he wanted the Canon digital camera, and just as I thought he gave me the go ahead to place the order. I filled in all the shipping information and the Canon digital camera should arrive in plenty of time for the school trip. I'm actually pretty excited to see what our son will do with the new Canon digital camera and how his photographic eye will develop.

This happened to me the other day while trying to get a group shot during a night out downtown to a cool underground pub. There was six of us and right before I left, I thought why not get a pictures so everyone posed, I took the shot and the result came out blurry. I then had to round everyone up again and take another. Still blurry. By this point, people were getting antsy. One last try and it looked better then before but not perfect. I probably should have gone with the Canon digital camera I debated about online before buying mine. The Canon digital camera was a little bit more expensive but better and moments like this are worth those few extra dollars.

I’ve since been looking through camera accessories for cleaner shots. A tripod would be nice as would a new longer lens. There are plenty of things to choose from at web stores. My problem is deciding on one even though I’d like to buy them all.

I found this out after going over to a guy’s house who is climbing the music producing ladder. He has a degree in audio engineering and the equipment to prove it. The corner of his apartment converted into a music producing area is nowhere near the quality at an actual studio but even on his speakers, a song we had all heard before sounded much better. From that point, it reinforced my recent online home theater system purchase.

Music is a pretty important part of my life. While I can’t afford the same kind of speakers used to hear every nuance of a beat or lyric in a studio, my DVD home theater does a much better job then any speakers I’ve used before. Now to move to a place where the neighbors don’t get mad when the home theater system is turned up. That’s apartment life I guess.

This is a passion that grew its first roots in my brain way back in the day, when I got my first skateboard for Xmas when I was seven years old. Now, fast-forwarding all the way to present day, I have been really getting back into this sport as of late, and my friends and I will frequently take our Canon digital cameras along as well as our mini DV camcorders and shoot footage of us skating. I have been waiting for weeks for my buddy to edit this footage and compile the skate videos of us, so he can come over and we could watch it on my DVD home theater. Finally, he called me up the other day and said he had finished it all, and it was ready to be viewed. We called up our other skating buddies, and we all convened over at my house. It was truly spectacular to watch us busting out fat tricks and pulling them off on my DVD home theater; almost reminded me of my high school days!

I have been really looking around all over the place online for some Canon digital camera accessories because I need some more for my photo taking gadget. Amongst a lengthy list of Canon digital camera accessories that I am hoping to purchase for some great values over the weeks to come, there are some things that I could really use. One of them is a new Canon digital camera accessories tripod, which would allow me to easily mount my camera and take better still frame shots—which would really come in handy for getting some awesome live show pics of my band performing. Another Canon digital camera accessory that I am currently seeking is a higher capacity memory card, because the one I have now, while it is still great, it is limited, and I have read about better memory cards that can hold more footage. The cool thing is that I have just started meandering around the web, and I have already found some pretty great values on the Canon digital camera accessories that I am seeking.

Old Snowboard Footage on the LCD HDTV

http://www.hometheatersystemlcdhdtv.net/2010/March/Old-Snowboard-Footage-on-the-LCD-HDTV.htm

We are now a few days into Spring and it feels like it. With winter behind us I’m somewhat disappointed in missing out on snow days. Apart from the mountains a couple of hours away there is no snow around here. I did get to see some while visiting a friend in Colorado a couple of months back but apart from that Jack Frost came and went. Nostalgic from another winter passed I put old snowboard footage on the LCD HDTV. I was never much of a boarder but my friends were. They’d take me to the back country where they’d set up big jump into the powder and then go for it. I was the one usually on the camera. In this specific video, the jump flew over a ridgeline onto a steep ankle deep powder slope. A friend I haven’t seen in 5 years hit it and threw a wild backflip. He didn’t stick it and did more of a tumble after landing but it looked cool on the LCD HDTV. The sounds of all of us screaming and pumping him up shot through the home theater system.

By the end of the LCD HDTV video a couple of them were trying double backflips. No one landed it and they didn’t look pretty but the rotation was about there. Powder really makes anything possible. It’s hard to get hurt when you land in cloud soft snow.

Canon Digital Camera and Wildflowers a Good Combination for Excellent Photo Results

http://www.hometheatersystemlcdhdtv.net/2010/March/Canon-Digital-Camera-and-Wildflowers-a-Good-Combination-for-Excellent-Photo-Results-.htm

Yesterday we went off in search of amazing wildflowers, and we had to go no more than 20 miles from home for an incredible feast for our eyes. About a year ago, the highway east of our house was expanded and the department of transportation apparently spread lots of wildflower seeds, and with all our winter rain, it was an explosion of color. I took hundreds of pictures with my Canon digital camera and when I reviewed them on my computer after we got back, I found I had several excellent photos and some very good ones. We later viewed them on the home theater system, and decided it was worth another trip to the same spot to get more photos.

My Canon digital camera did a good job. The battery life is quite long and I was able to zoom in and get some great close ups and then zoom out for more panoramic scenes. The poppies were in full bloom, and there were even a few white poppies, too, which we seldom see here. The exposure was perfect, too. When photographing bright yellow or white flowers, the exposure can be tricky, but my Canon digital camera did a perfect job. These photos are going to be an excellent way to remember the wonderful winter we had here in Phoenix with ample rain to get these flowers up from seed and blooming passionately in the sun.
